ABOUT MALAWI

The Republic of Malawi, also known as "The Warm Heart of Africa", is a tropical country in Southeast Africa that neighbors Zambia, Tanzania, and Mozambique. With an estimated population of over 16 million, Malawi is home to who travellers consider the friendliest and most hospitable people in the world.

In addition to being one of the "warmest" parts of the world, Malawi is also one of the most poverty stricken nations, and a place where malnutrition and disease are prevelent. It is also home to over 1 million orphaned children.
